Profile:
I am a dedicated pharmacy assistant with nearly six years of hands-on experience in the health sector. Having been deeply involved in this field, I've combined my rich professional background with rigorous academic pursuits. I am in the final year of a Master's in Public Health at Western Sydney University. My journey from overcoming language barriers as an immigrant to becoming an integral part of the healthcare community in Sydney underscores my resilience, adaptability, and commitment to excellence.

  • Pharmaceutical Knowledge: I've received extensive training in pharmacy products and have developed proficiency in counseling on over-the-counter medications, vitamins, skin, and beauty products.

  • Educational Background: I hold a Bachelor's degree in Medical Science from the University of Technology Sydney and am currently deepening my expertise with my Master's studies in Public Health.

Professional Experience:

Over the years, I've held roles in multiple pharmacies in Sydney, bringing a wealth of experience to each position.

I am currently associated with Pericline Pharmacy, where I add value through my product knowledge and patient interactions.

Additionally, I underwent a medical receptionist training programme, which enhanced my understanding of the medical system and honed my practical skills in medical software usage.

 

Career Aspirations:

My aspiration is to transition into a health educator role, where I can use my vast experience and academic insights to develop and deliver educational programs. I aim to empower individuals and groups to make informed health decisions and promote healthier lifestyles. With my foundational values, I always seek to foster an environment of trust, compassion, and mutual respect in every professional interaction.

(2012), healthcare professionals who prioritize patient-centered care and enhance patients' well-being contribute to better outcomes in healthcare delivery. The authors highlight the significance of empathy, collaboration, respect, and trust in creating an environment that promotes positive patient experiences and improved health outcomes. They acknowledge the importance of cooperation and consider the viewpoints of all stakeholders. Ethics and responsibility are crucial in various academic disciplines and professional contexts.
